We have been part of the Mustangs program for over 5 years. CJ and his coaches truly care about player development. They encourage their kids to play Little League and participate in other sports.
This is the way a travel baseball program is supposed to be run. You will find this to be an extremely positive environment for your son to play in.
We have been a part of the Reno Mustangs for over four years. Our oldest son is a 12u and started with the Mustangs at the age of 8. Our younger son is a 9u and has been at the Mustangs for over a year. CJ and all of his coaches have had an extremely positive impact on both of our sons. Not only have they taught them baseball and developed them to be better ball players, they have taught them respect and love for the game, respect for themselves and for their teammates.
CJ and his coaches truly care about our kids and take the time to get to know them and coach them as individuals. The Mustangs program and philosophy supports and encourages our kids to play other sports. They have taught our boys that hard work pays off and confidence goes a long ways. These are life lessons that they take with them beyond the baseball diamond whether it be in other sports, school, etc. We cannot say enough positive things about the Reno Mustangs and what CJ and his coaches have done to develop what we truly feel is the best competitive baseball program in the Northern Nevada/Truckee/Tahoe region.
